Overview
The Operations Coordinator provides administrative support and supervision of the day-to-day functions of the operations department. The position provides leadership and direction to part-time team members regarding building policy and procedures.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $17 to $20.

Responsibilities
- Assist with overseeing event changeovers, including setup of chairs, tables, and signs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for facility floors, chairs, staging, risers, and inventory.
- Coordinate housekeeping services and assign work tasks, resolving operational issues.
- Maintain accurate hazardous materials record keeping.
- Review and coordinate changeover plans, facility maintenance, and operations.
- Schedule part-time staff for events with Manager.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate operations’ team members.
- Coordinate part-time team members' assignments.
- Operate machinery as required (Scrubbers, Buffers, etc.).
- Collaborate with Operations Manager for departmental smooth operation.
- Ensure facility maintenance during events with part-time and contract labor.
- Assist Operations Manager in monitoring supply inventory.
- Adhere to building programs, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Control janitorial supply inventory and maintain MSDS books.
- Work alongside part-time, contract, and independent contractors.
- Report safety hazards and accidents, communicate departmental information.
- Maintain high departmental morale and exemplify professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- One to two years of experience in operations or related industry.
- Working knowledge of the principles of facility management, services, and equipment for a similar facility.
- Less than one year of administrative support and supervisor experience preferred
