The Lake Erie Crushers are a professional baseball team that are a member of the Frontier League, a “Partner League” of Major League Baseball.


The Crushers established in 2009 are based in Avon, Ohio and their home stadium is Lake Erie Crushers Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000. Including 11 suites, four person terrace tables, berm seating, picnic and patio areas for group outings. The stadium has new artificial turf, concession stands, team shop, state of the art sound system and new video board. Avon is 20 miles west of Cleveland Ohio and part of the Cleveland metropolitan area.
The Crushers have an opening for an Account Executive in ticket sales. The right individual will be an integral part of the team to drive ticket sales opportunities, develop long-term relationships with the business community and deliver a unique ballpark experience for fans of all ages.

THE ROLE
The Account Executive- Ticket Sales will be responsible for generating revenue of season ticket packages, group sales and premium seating hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate, creative, resourceful, in the mindset to drive revenue.

 RESPONSIBILITIES
-generate revenue through the sale of season ticket packages, group sales, and premium seating.
-generate revenue through ancillary revenue opportunities such as group picnics, ball park rentals, and group merchandise.
-prospecting for new sales through outbound calls, e-mails, Linkedin and in person meetings.
-develop strong relationships with existing customer base through phone calls, e-mails, and in seat visits.
-represent the company at  local professional networking functions and community events.
-maintain daily outbound contact quotas and track in company CRM.
-Consistently add and maintain prospect sales pipeline.
-Exceed weekly, monthly, yearly sales goals.
-additional duties as assigned.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

-experience within the sports and entertainment industry is a plus.
-strong team player and self starter.
-self motivated, TEAM oriented mind set
-strong work ethic
- knowledge of Tickets.com and SCORE CRM a plus
-strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze current     business opportunities.
-excellent, verbal and written communication skills.
-ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays as required.
-driven to succeed and overcome obstacles through hard work and determination.
-Bachelor’s degree in business or related major is preferred.
