As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that align with the strategic goals and objectives of our organization. You will collaborate closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop engaging learning materials, and facilitate impactful training sessions. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee growth and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify learning gaps and training needs within the organization.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders and HR to prioritize learning objectives based on business goals and employee development requirements.

Program Design and Development:
  • Design, develop, and customize learning materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and interactive activities.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective training content.
  • Leverage various delivery methods, such as instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, and self-paced modules, to accommodate diverse learning preferences.

Training Delivery and Facilitation:
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for learners, providing guidance and support throughout the training process.
  • Foster an interactive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and knowledge sharing.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
  • Iterate on learning programs based on data-driven insights and best practices in learning and development.
Learning Technology Management:
  • Oversee the implementation and administration of learning management systems (LMS) or other training platforms.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in e-learning to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training content.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training facilitation.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
  • Proficiency in learning management systems such as DDI and EVERFI
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Please also include that Bi-lingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
