THE ROLE

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. This intern will be responsible for focusing on consumer marketing for our University of Miami Partnership and their fans. We are looking for someone who has a passion for marketing research and data to capture the fans interests around University of Miami and their ticketed sports.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assists with master data management strategy including maintaining a clean and accurate CRM.
  • Works with full-time consumer marketing team on various digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, SMS, paid advertising, website and mobile app.
  • Assist in the development of target audience segmentation and lead generation.
  • Provide reporting on websites, campaigns, email and paid advertising performance in the form of reports and executive summaries.
  • Analyze and recommend adjustments to SEO efforts, paid search and sponsored content strategies.
  • Monitor and improve conversion rates and the monetized value of each client. Make recommendations for streamlining our online/ecommerce user experience in the context of how changes will affect user engagement.
  • Participate in self-learning of industry best practices, demonstrating an ability to bring new ways of doing business into the organization for greater sales performance.
  • Develop and oversee key analytics such as ROI and other digital KPIs, effectively executing a data-driven marketing approach.
  • Provide support for key marketing systems and tools used to support the Engagement and Membership Sales and Service Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Currently enrolled or has obtained a Bachelors degree preferred.
  •  Preferred interest in working in sports and entertainment.
  •  Ability to work on average 20 hours per week.
  •  Ability to prioritize and organize projects.
  •  Eager to learn and work with your department in the company.
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Highly organized and ability to multitask a few projects at once.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
