What You’ll Do
  • The primary role of the Senior Media Manager is to effectively oversee and maintain the resources and workflows facilitating incoming and outgoing media within the entire Overtime ecosystem.
  • Responsible for evaluating, ingesting, cataloging, and archiving all shoot material and determining the most efficient file-based workflows for producers and editors.
  • Create and maintain a system for organizing and categorizing media files. This includes creating file naming conventions and organizing files into a logical system.
  • Oversee the operation of file delivery platforms and management of the server and cloud-based archival system.
  • Create, manage and transcode video files to ensure they match project specs.
  • Coordinate and schedule the delivery of media assets to various locations and clients, ensuring on-time delivery and quality control.
  • Partner and regularly synchronize with the IT, Production and Producers to establish best practices and storage solutions, resulting in streamlined workflows.

Who you are
  • A minimum of 4-5 years work experience in a Post-Production / Media Management environment
  • Good attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines is crucial
  • Willingness to work on weekends during basketball season and exemplify qualities of a team player
  • Functional working experience with Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder
  • Strong working knowledge of file encoding/transcoding and delivery systems
  • An understanding of various camera settings and modes for Fx9, Fx6, Go-pros, and DSLRs is preferred 

Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage systems such as AWS S3:
  • Experience with managing and storing large volumes of data in the cloud
  • Understanding of cloud storage security and compliance
  • Knowledge of cloud storage pricing and cost optimization techniques
  • Experience working with file accelerators such as IBM Aspera and Signiant:
    • Hands-on experience with using file accelerators to optimize file transfers
    • Understanding of the benefits and limitations of different file accelerators
    • Experience troubleshooting file transfer issues related to file accelerators
  • Knowledge of media asset management systems like Iconik:
    • Experience with using media asset management systems to organize, manage, and distribute media assets
    • Understanding of media asset management system features and functionality
    • Experience using media asset management systems to support complex workflows

Overtime expects the annual salary range for this role to be between $90-100k. Overtime also offers benefits and equity in the company.
