Job Summary:
Assisting the Stadium Operations department in providing a safe, clean, friendly, well-maintained and organized facility and game day experience for fans, staff, and sponsors. This position will work both non-event days and event days to provide the best outcome for Victory Field.
 
Essential Functions:
Assist the Operations department in the daily cleaning and upkeep of Victory Field Stadium. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare the stadium for every Indians home game and all private and public events held at Victory Field. This may include cleaning seating areas, concourse, premium picnic areas, suites, windows, and restrooms
  • Assist with completing trash removal and spill cleanups during games and events
  • Complete janitorial supply inventory, keep storage areas organized, and restock product 
  • Clean administrative offices, break rooms, and reception areas
  • Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, trash removal and disposal daily
  • Assist with deliveries and organization of storage areas
  • Operate small engine equipment such as backpack blowers, pressure washers, Shred Vacs
  • Operate floor cleaning equipment such as walk-behind scrubbers, ride-on scrubbers, and Kaivac machines
  • Assist the clubhouse and facilities department as needed 
 
Must be dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and have reliable means of transportation. You will be working all weekdays and event days as needed.
 
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Helping keep the stadium clean in any capacity needed as asked by the Director of Stadium Operations.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments
Position requires non-traditional work hours
Other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Qualifications:
1-2 years of cleaning experience, must have High School Diploma or G.E.D
Forklift driving certification preferred but not required 
 
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to stand up for 8+ hours at a time
Be able to walk up and down stairs
Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Ability to work 14+ hour days and 80+ hours per week at times
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
 
Compensation:
$14.00 hourly; estimated 8+ hours per shift (40+ hours per week, 80+ hours per week when the Indians are home)
