The Portland Pickles possess and operates a 5-7 camera setup and live broadcast all games through YouTube Live. The Broadcaster will be responsible for the game production, from setup, operation, and execution of a live broadcast. Games are streamed through VMIX software (previous experience with VMIX required).

Note: this is NOT a full production professional setup. This is a low budget- high yield product. The expectation is a smooth, versatile, knowledgeable employee who can problem solve with resources available. 

 Broadcast Duties Include:

  • Oversee and manage all live broadcasts for home Portland Pickles games in 2023
  • Switching cameras on live broadcasting through VMIX broadcasting software
  • Setup/takedown/ operations knowhow of wireless transmitters
  • Making and importing  graphic overlays into live broadcasting
  • Instant replays
  • Coordination with play-by-play audio overlay 
  • In charge of setup of hardware each game & takedown
  • Oversee small staff (3-5 employees & interns) including camera operators & graphics manager
  • Assist highlight packages post-game
  • Coordinate In-game promotion activities to broadcast
  • Responsible for keeping up with color correction and image control of cameras
  • Knowledge of Baseball 

Pay will be per-game, and you will manage a team of 3-5 staff with little to no experience, and will need to be trained on the basics. There are resources available from team staff and consultants.
