UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and Big XII Conference member, is seeking applications for the position of Marketing Assistant, Brand Experience.

Collaborating with the brand experience team, this position is engaged with the creation and implementation / activation of marketing initiatives for assigned sports programs that will help build college athletics' future largest fanbase.  In this capacity, position assists with the execution of activities that generate revenue, increase attendance at events, and successfully position/enhance/protect the UCF Athletics brand.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively collaborate with external operations units (brand experience, #content, strategic communications) and sport coaches / staff in the creation, planning, implementation, and evaluation of innovative marketing strategies with a focus on the gameday experience for assigned sports programs. 
  • Research best practices and create, organize, and execute progressive promotional activities for assigned sports towards the enhancement of the fan experience at home events
  • Assist with the implementation / activation of brand experience programming / initiatives for home football and men's basketball game days, as well as other scheduled home athletic / donor events throughout the year
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one (1) year of appropriate experience. Prefer 2+ years of progressive marketing experience with an emphasis on game day experience.  Graphic design, strong creativity, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills also preferred. Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.  As a UCF Athletics staff member, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.
