WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

SUMMARY
Manage day-to-day engagement with Clubs related to various Club and League priorities, programs, initiatives and policies. This includes proactively identifying and sharing of best practices relating to sales, marketing, and operational business initiatives to achieve revenue targets and objectives; ensuring that NHL policies impacting the Clubs are effectively communicated and supported; and helping navigate opportunities and issues resulting from League engagement with Clubs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Among a variety of responsibilities, this role includes;
  • Management of policy compliance for Club local partner activation campaigns, including the materials review and approvals process associated with a variety of revenue areas, (e.g., Club participation in NHL events, sports betting, uniform advertising, etc.).  
  • Oversight of Club creative execution of Line-of-Sight (LOS) signage advertising for all NHL games, including in-venue and on-broadcast (e.g., static dasherboard signage, DED, Virtual), etc.; and the negotiation and management of related signage vendor partnerships. 
  • Serve as a primary liaison with Ticketmaster, and Quint Travel, the NHL’s travel partner, to support the development and execution of a variety of unique marketing assets to promote NHL Events VIP fan travel packages in the marketplace. 
  • Support the execution of various special projects and initiatives, including the annual NHL Club Business Meetings, Women’s Hockey programming, the NHL’s involvement with the US. Department of State/espnW Global Sports Mentoring Program; and NHL integration in scripted television and film programming.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Areas/Experience
Required
  • Demonstrated customer service/account management experience
  • A minimum of four (4) years of post-graduate professional employment history 
  • Possess exceptional technology skills, including fluency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have a high level of interest / familiarity in emerging media and digital technology platforms
 
Preferred
  • League, team, and/or media property experience

 Education/Certifications
  • A 4-year undergraduate degree is required

SALARY RANGE:
 $100-105K
 
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
