Summary: 
Responsible for overseeing and administering the day-to-day operations in the housekeeping, conversion and building maintenance departments for the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Oversee all aspects of operations including event preparation and services, housekeeping, setups and changeovers, crowd and risk management, fire & life safety and OSHA compliance.
Works with Director of Operations in the development and implementation of operational/departmental procedures.
Provide daily building inspections to ensure policy compliance, quality control.
Administers preventive maintenance and work order programs.
Schedule, lead and advise part time conversion and housekeeping staff.
Meet with appropriate staff to outline work that must be done for the day/week.
Approve all hours worked for housekeeping and setup departments on a timely basis.
Prepare work schedules and assures adequate coverage for department and specific events.
Ensures that all operations equipment is maintained correctly.
Has knowledge of sense of timing as to what activities should be taking place within a time frame to accomplish necessary tasks to ensure a successful event.
Implement and train all employees on the operating procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies that conform to the ASM Global standards and best practices.
Maintain equipment and supply inventory.
All other duties as assigned.



Qualifications 
Valid PA Driver’s License
Friendly, positive and upbeat attitude
Ability to communicate clearly
Highly self-motivated
Able to strictly follow all policy and procedures
Reliable and punctual
Bilingual beneficial, but no required

Education and/or Experience          
High School diploma or equivalent 
Two to Three years related experience 

Skills and Abilities      
 Be familiar with operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event related services and technical requirements anticipated for the facility.
Follow and adhere to all safety precautions, building codes, rules, regulations, risk management and emergency procedures.
Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
Meet the physical demands of the job. Must perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving and climbing.
Work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative. 
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management.
Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
Ability to work irregular/extended hours, including night, weekend and holiday duties as required.  Must be available for after hour emergency calls.
