Summary: 
The Wells Fargo Center & Philadelphia Flyers are seeking a Business Strategy & Analytics Manager to join our Strategy & Analytics Team. The position is responsible for using data to conduct business analysis across departments in the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate advanced analytical skills and business acumen alongside experience with R or Python, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Salesforce, and Tableau. The Business Strategy & Analytics Manager will report to  Sr. Manager, Inventory Optimization & Analytics.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze sales & marketing data to provide actionable insight to generate incremental revenue.
  • Support day-to-day Salesforce administration, including data entry, data cleansing, user support.
  • Train new sales representatives on CRM functionality and best ways to utilize the system.
  • Collaborate with sales directors and sales representatives to understand CRM usage and data requests.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses and recommendations to develop a deep understanding of market and fan activity.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation across reporting and analytics.
  • Use and manipulate large current and historical data sets to inform short-term and long-term business planning efforts, including fan segmentation and marketing campaign analysis
  • Meet with executives, department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to: assess, capture, and implement solutions for business reporting and/or data needs; solicit cooperation; and resolve business or technical problems.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 Years of experience in data-driven industry or job function preferred.
  • Skilled with BI Tools (Tableau preferred), CRM (Salesforce preferred), Programming Languages (R or Python) & SQL, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups etc.). 
  • Knowledge of segmentation modeling and marketing KPIs preferred
  • Experience analyzing large data sets to extract actionable recommendations.
  • Experience importing and cleaning data sets from external sources.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner, including managing multiple concurrent projects across stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and present detailed business cases for senior level audiences.
  • Ability to execute non-conventional market research.
  • Keen attention to detail, strong time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn new programs and skillsets. 
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed, in addition to traditional business hours.
