Job Title: Tarp Crew Attendant                                  
                                                      
Job Summary: Tarp Crew is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the field and surrounding facilities on game days and possible non-game days.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Preparing the field for games, in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the field as needed during the game and doing whatever is necessary to the field, bullpens, dugouts, and any other field accessible areas, to repair or prepare the field as needed for the following day
  • May also be asked to perform various duties in, and around the stadium, related to the Grounds department
  • Set up and tear down for any on field event, including concerts, and charitable events
  • Being asked to cover the field as needed on non-game days

Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
  • Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

  • This role is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt opportunity that is not eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. The schedule for this position is dependent on our team schedule and is subject to change.  
  • This is a Union position and as such, requires membership with the Service Employees International Union, Local 1 - Kansas City Division, AFL-CIO, and is subject to the terms and conditions within this Union contract
