Position Summary:
Individual is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Activation, Marketing,
Public Relations, and Corporate Sales Departments. Partners with the General Manager and Director of
Marketing to support the targeted goals and initiatives as set forth by the company. Constructs/Manages
processes that result in exceptional standards of quality production and service.
Duties:
• Fosters a positive professional environment that supports company objectives.
• Supports sales and marketing efforts as defined by business goals.
• Builds strong relationships with clients and develops a suitable action plan for the successful
implementation of every project.
• Responsible for holding focus group discussions with clients' representatives to understand their
requirements and assess the implementation of the project.
• Engages with clients, oversees customer service operations, and develops a common ground for the
implementation of the project.
• Ensures all aspects of clients’ partnerships are fulfilled on game day.
• Assist in development of game and PA script for each game to assure all elements of partnerships
are met.
• Develops and maintains a database that includes all elements of partnership agreements to ensure
all departments are aware of activation requirements for each.
• Develop Proofs of Performance (PoPs) decks at the end of the year that can be shared with
corporate partners.
• Manages partner communications and sets up meetings as necessary to review all PoPs.
• Oversees owner’s and corporate VIP area on game days.
• Available to participate in community events as needed.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Two to three years of activation experience.
• Experience working with athletic promotions and sports marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Ticketmaster system is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic accounting, record keeping, reconciliation and audit practices and procedures.
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills.
• Knowledge of event marketing, promotions, and advertising.
• Ability to operate independently, take initiative, and follow-through with assignments.
• Ability to initiate, lead, plan and direct the work of department.
• Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff.
• Skills in resolving problems with clients and with staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
