The RiverCentre Sales Coordinator is instrumental in supporting the Saint Paul RiverCentre, Sales department with various duties, and is responsible for the administration of customer relationship management in our booking software. This position involves, assisting with reporting, client account management, and following up with potential prospect events at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Candidates should be passionate, detail-oriented, and willing to work independently within a team environment. 

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Manage new and existing accounts, including qualifying incoming leads, managing smaller accounts, prospecting new events, and assisting account executives with objectives and client tours.
  • Organize customer relationship management in our booking software, attend industry events, and manage client projects.
  • Assist with contracting, including comprehensive training, placing future holds in booking software, and creating contract addendums.
  • Assist with sales and marketing reports and updating lead and lost business reports.
  • Assist with trade and client gift inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • 2-year college degree preferred or equivalent education and sales experience.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1 - 3 years contract or related work experience.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CRM and Booking Software experience preferred.

Work Conditions

  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
