Position Summary:

Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Kraken are seeking a highly motivated, competitive, & coachable individual who is passionate about the business side of the sports industry. This hybrid Coordinator + Sales position focuses on coordinating with the group sales & ticketing teams to maximize efficiencies within the department while generating revenue. As a team, we are committed to the process of developing this individual on both a personal and professional level. This is a full-time position.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full-menu selling for Kraken; including but not limited to group tickets, season tickets, premium products.
  • Make a minimum of 60 touchpoints (including a minimum of 30 phone calls) each day with the goal of generating new sales and revenue through self-generated and provided leads.
  • Responsible for streamlining sales efforts using Smartsheet.
  • Proactively seek new leads through referrals, prospecting, and networking.
  • Meets or exceeds weekly and monthly sales goals.
  • Provides phone support and follow-up of ticket sales campaigns.
  • Maintains detailed records of clients and prospects in the CRM system.
  • Provides immaculate customer service to any inbound calls or emails.
  • Joyfully work event day functions as assigned.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Relentless pursuit for excellence, determination, and creativity.
  • High level of expertise in efficiency and processes.
  • Highly disciplined with excellent focus.
  • Past sales experience a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to be prompt and on-time.
  • Strong desire to start or continue career in the sports industry.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Must be a strong communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.
  • Always demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (evenings and weekends).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.

  

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using a CRM system/Salesforce is preferred.
  • Prior experience using ticketing software Archtics is preferred.
  • Prior experience using DocuSign is preferred.
  • Prior experience using Smartsheet is preferred.

 

Total Rewards Package:

  • Compensation:
    • In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the expected pay range for this position is $23-26/hr. Actual base pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:

  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
