The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, American Hockey League affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are seeking a Video Production Intern for the 2024-25 season.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with team/player/marketing video shoots.
- Create postgame highlight packages for social media/website usage.
- Collect postgame highlights for distribution to television and online video outlets.
- Shooting fan footage, game action and on concourse events during home games.
- Shooting footage at season ticket holder, charity and community events.
- Shooting postgame and post-practice interviews with players/coaches.
- Logging and archiving player footage.
Qualifications
- Local candidates preferred.
- Junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Video Production, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related fields.
- Candidates must earn college credit for the internship.
- An interest in and ability to create compelling stories through video.
- Able to edit videos utilizing Adobe Premiere or similar video editing programs.
- Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
