NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Team Services based in our Concord, North Carolina office.

This person is an important part of delivering the ultimate guest services experience for Racing Electronics.  This role is responsible for providing sales and technical support to Race Teams and walk-in customers at our showroom/retail store.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide sales and technical services and support to walk-in customer and existing clients, includes helmet kit installations, radio programming (we will train), ear-mold impressions.
  • Perform general service and repair of 2-way radios and accessories (headsets, interface cabling, adapters, antenna cabling).
  • Partner with Team Services (at-track team) and Inside Sales (store-based team) to provide superior customer service to existing and potential customers.
  • Maintain proficiency in operating and programming 2-way radios; be able to direct end users on operation and features.
  • For select events, serve as the event contact for Series’ officials, providing technical service, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment in a quick turnaround setting at select events.
  • Travel: 15%, including weekends and holidays

Required skills / experience:                                         

  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of three year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient on company provided hardware and software.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with the public and to deal effectively with questions and/or issues as they arise.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and industry members at every level of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team settings.
