Nature of Work:

The Colorado Rapids are seeking highly motivated, coachable individuals who are passionate about generating revenue on the business side of the sports industry. This position is responsible for being the main point of contact for Colorado Rapids Season Ticket Members and will have a significant role in growing the membership base year over year. The primary responsibilities include developing meaningful client relationships and providing exceptional customer service, which assist in renewing Season Ticket Membership accounts annually. This position will have additional responsibilities to generate new business revenue through the sale of membership packages, premium seating, group tickets, and incremental cross-sale or up-sale opportunities within their membership base.

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Provide high-end level of service to existing & new season ticket accounts
  • Generate new ticket sales revenue by focusing on current Colorado Rapids Season Ticket Members through membership add-ons, referrals, cross selling group and premium spaces
  • Handle a high level of sales activity, including a minimum number of outbound calls and touchpoints per day 
  • Meet defined yearly renewal goals during a yearly autorenewal campaign to retain current Season Ticket Members
  • Work various Colorado Rapids events, including home games, Season Ticket Member events, and ticket on-sales (minimum of 19 events per year)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of team events, Season Ticket Member benefits, and stadium details, while effectively and enthusiastically communicating details to Season Ticket Members
  • Assist in executing customized programs, benefits and events to drive member loyalty
  • Ensure customer data and profile requirements are accurately represented in CRM database
  • Educate Season Ticket Members of all applicable membership benefits, programs and events
  • Handle Season Ticket Member inquiries, issues and provide applicable solutions to maintain a positive relationship between Season Ticket Members and the Colorado Rapids.
  • Manage daily correspondence

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university  
    2. 1 year sales experience in Sports or related industry (Inside Sales preferred)
    3. Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards
    4. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Preferred
    1. A completion of an Inside Sales program with a professional sports team
    2. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

  • Extensive knowledge of Major League Soccer and Colorado Rapids

  • Ability to quickly build rapport with Season Ticket Members and assess their needs
  • Computer skills emphasizing Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics

 

Compensation

  • $21.63 hourly plus commission
