POSITION SUMMARY 
Reporting to the Operations and Conversions Management team, the part-time Facility Operations Supervisor provides guidance and oversees the part-time operations and conversion crew.  They will assist in supervising the changeover of stadium spaces for events and daily operations.  Additionally, Facility Operations Supervisors will also follow directives from other Facilities department managers. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
  • Supervise and ensure completion of maintenance and repairs received from stadium operations leadership. 
  • Coordinate with Facilities department managers to execute requirements and requests from various departments and contractors to ensure the facility is ready for each individual event.  
  • Work with all applicable departments and provide clear, concise, and timely communications regarding event requirements and requests. 
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory for all stadium equipment on a regular basis. 
  • Will serve as the part-time operations crew lead during all events and select conversions. 
  • Responsible for daily loading dock operations related to shipping and receiving, deliveries, and event equipment load in/out. 
  • Set up and manage mail delivery management and loading dock delivery schedule system.  
  • Retrieves and sorts all mail, including packages, by department and ensures notification and delivery to applicable departments. 
  • Arrange pick up from postal service and other delivery services. 
  • Execute installation and dismantle of various event and conversion equipment, including but not limited to, gate set-ups, concourse buildouts, staging, temporary flooring, trussing, field coverings, and chair set/strike. 
  • Report progress and/or completion of tasks assigned prior to shift close. 
  • Train part-time operations and conversion crew to utilize a variety of tools necessary for execution, such as sockets, wrenches, hammers, drills, impact wrenches, allen wrenches and screw drivers. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in facility operations preferred. 
  • Experience in executing major event facility conversions. 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and make sound decisions while working under pressure.  
  • Strong organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work activities effectively and use time efficiently. 
  • Ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time. 
  • Possess a professional demeanor and has the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts. 
  • Must possess a current and valid California Driver’s License. 
  • Must be able to work nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as the event calendar requires. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and stand/walk for long period of time. 
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification preferred. 
  • Prior experience in sports and entertainment venues preferred. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. 
 
SALARY RANGE
At LAFC, we carefully consider a wide range of factors to determine a fair and equitable compensation package. The final offer amount will consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure guidelines, the overall compensation for this role is $23.00 per hour.
