Director, Sports Partnership Sales
Looking for an experienced Director level sales executive responsible for generating new business revenue for the AIM Sports Group properties. They will be responsible for the success of new partnerships with local, regional and national companies through integrated packaging of the organizations media properties; including but not limited to sponsorships, signage, physical and digital experiential, promotions and media. Also, understand the client’s business and how to align them with our growing sports ecosystem of properties and portfolio capabilities (activation, media, tech) to drive new revenue opportunities.  Reporting to the EVP/President.
 
Key Areas of Responsibility
●      Achieve year-over-year revenue growth goals outlined by the EVP
●      Research, prospect and establish leads for partnership relationships through industry networking, trade publication and direct lead-gen.
●      Deliver consistent recaps and reinforcement of results aligned to partnership goals and client-ROI evaluation.
●      Maintain all client records in CRM system, including up-to-date contact information, deal sheets, billing, and other activities necessary for accurate record-keeping and communication mechanisms.
●      Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
●      Work closely with Partnership Marketing to ensure contractual fulfillment with an emphasis towards maximining cross proportional opportunities.
●      Cultivate new corporate partner relationships and optimize existing accounts through outstanding client service to drive sponsorship revenues and facilitate marketing partnerships.

●      Work closely with other departments within the organization on corporate partner related programs and cross selling opportunities including tournament operations, community relations, PR/marketing and building operations.

 
Experience
●      8+ years in corporate sales in professional sports or youth sports league.
●      Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive sales goals.
●      Strong core competency in the principles and practices related to the sale and implementation of corporate partnerships.
●      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
●      Superior negotiation skills.
●      Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
●      Strong attention to detail, organized, flexible and able to solve problems.
●      Proficient in KeyNote/PowerPoint and Excel to develop partnership presentations and trackers.

Salary Range: 
$125,000-175,000. Robust benefits and compensation package.
