Sponsorship Sales Coordinator
This is a temp to full time position.  The first three months of the position will be temporary employment and at the conclusion of the three months, SSEC may offer the temporary employee a full time position.

About the Company: SSEC is a Sponsorship and Event Consulting company based in Cranbury, NJ.  SSEC works with clients on developing partnership strategies, business development, and sponsorship sales.  The company has a marketing and sales focus with a culture founded on innovation, creativity, positive reinforcement, and teaching.  SSEC represents National Governing Bodies, Sports Events, Sports Leagues, and Digital Media Companies.
   
SSEC Philosophy: SSEC is a young and growing sponsorship sales agency.  SSEC staff will be exposed to a wide variety of sponsorship and event businesses and will assist our clients in monetizing their business.  We don’t expect our staff to know everything, but we expect staff to be willing to learn, receive positive coaching, and possess tremendous energy to drive business success.
 
Location: In-Office 
Experience: 0 – 2 years
Compensation: $20.00 an hour, 40 hours a week
*This opportunity could turn into a full-time position at the conclusion of the position
Anticipated Timing: Start Date, Monday, June 3 through Friday, August 30th, 2024

Job Description:
·        Sales Focused Work
 ·       The coordinator will be trained by SSEC on databases, CRMs, and sales outreach.  The coordinator will then prospect potential sales targets, build sales lists, and conduct email outreach focused on setting up meetings with brands or media agencies with the goal of selling sponsorships.  The coordinator will not have to run the sales meetings (The supervisor will run the meeting) but the coordinator will be included in the sales meeting as a way to build experience.
 ·        The successful candidate will be self-sufficient and comfortable working autonomously as needed in prospecting companies, building email lists, account managing, and conducting outreach.
 
 Position Requirements:
·        Possess an entrepreneurial mindset.  
 ·        Passion for selling and building businesses.
 ·        Organized and detail-oriented skill set will be key in succeeding at this position.
 ·        Passion for prospecting, sales outreach, and marketing ideation
 ·        Strong written and oral skill sets.
 ·        Previous intern or entry-level experience is a strong plus
