Overview
The Bar Captain assists the Ops Manager in overseeing planning, set-up and break down of beverage event operations during catered and hosted events.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $30 plus tips

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff, and performance management.
- Ensure exceptional service by providing fast pace, and friendly service while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory by pulling liquor from a bar pull sheet and tracking consumption at the end of each event.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and liquor regulations, including proper handling and storage of alcohol.
- Maintain high standards for drink preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Three years experience as a bartending supervisor in a la carte or private dining service.
- High-energy, outgoing personality with strong professional, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of team leadership and motivation skills.
- Attention to set up and service details are a must.
- Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with bartenders and guests.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and handle various situations with professionalism.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role, with a good understanding of mixology and bar operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry min. 50lbs
