Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Beertender. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving a variety of craft beers to our patrons. You will also play a key role in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere within the brewery or taproom.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $20.00.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with information about our beer offerings.
  • Pour and serve beer to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Educate customers about different beer styles, flavor profiles, and brewing processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, taps, and surrounding areas.
  • Process transactions accurately using a POS system and handle cash and credit card payments.
  • Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Knowledge and passion for craft beer and brewing techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and informative manner.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain any required alcohol service certifications in your jurisdiction.
