Overview

Performs all cleaning of the building to ensure building is ready for the public. Performs cleaning of equipment and maintenance of equipment as needed. Assists with the ordering of supplies and keeping inventory of all housekeeping related products. Assists the Operations Manager in coordinating overall planning and policies while maintaining the highest quality service program to ensure client satisfaction.

This role will pay a salary of $18 to $20.

Responsibilities

• · Operate buffer, rider sweepers / scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, mops and other various equipment
• · Climb up and down stairs and lift 40 lbs. unaided
• · Maintains clean and well stocked restrooms
• · Safely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures
• · Responsible for keeping all areas in a safe and clean condition.
• Works with assigned Athletics staff to ensure cleanliness of all Locker Room areas within the Mullins Center
• Assists Operations Manager with ordering all housekeeping supplies
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

· Have a high school diploma, GED, or related trade school training; valid driver’s license; and interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with other staff

· Ability to work days, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed

· Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment; Be reliable, honest, dependable, and punctual

· General housekeeping knowledge and experience of using cleaning products and equipment

· Ability to read, speaks, and understands English.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines; ability to take directions;

· Ability to climb stairs and lift 40 lbs unaided
