Overview
An Event Security Supervisor reports directly to the Security Manager. The position is to assure the well-being and safety of employees, tenants, and patrons at the CFG Bank Arena. The Event Security Supervisor is a vital component of the Arena in assuring safety and a positive guest service experience – a positive attitude and a positive appearance are essential.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $26.

Responsibilities
- Supervise Event Day Security Staff
- Assist with scheduling and deployment of staff on event days.
- Oversee Event Day Security Staff to ensure job requirements are met.
- Monitor staff and provide corrective guidance.
- Enforce OVG employee policy.
- Work with Director of Security to improve and refine security program.
- Assist with hiring and training of Event Day Staff as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
- Possess a positive attitude and facilitate teamwork and respect among co-workers.
- Welcome guests, provide directions, and answer any questions that may arise.
- Monitor, patrol, secure areas of the arena and check/monitor credentials.
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs or wheelchair access.
- Resolve guest complaints quickly and exceed the guests’ expectations.
- Enforce building policies and event procedures.
- Maintain order and ensure crowd safety.
- Assist and direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies.
- Perform wanding of patrons and monitor entry of patrons through metal detectors.
- Communicate efficiently and clearly with co-workers/supervisors.
- Follow all incident procedure protocols and documentation when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities in a satisfactory manner. Work flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedule.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

- Demonstrated experience in event security field.
- Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of security and safety principles
- Ability to work with Word and Excel programs to manage administrative tasks.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
- Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises.
- Frequent bending, standing for long periods of time, extensive walking through the building.
