Overview
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales of new and renew Group Ticket Sales and grassroots marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is someone with prior ticketing and/or sales experience working within sports and entertainment ticket sales. The Group Sales Manager reports directly to the Director, Ticketing.
This role will pay a yearly salary of $47,700 + Commission

Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop excellent business relationships with group leaders and promoters
- Develop, maintain and grow a group sales lead database
- Promotes Group Experience for selected family shows, sporting events, concerts, events and special event packages
- Organize and implement sales strategies
- Track and manage weekly/final sales and activity reports
- Collaborate with Marketing to design advertising materials to promote events, which includes e-blast communications
- Responsible for continuing development of Group Experience and creation of new revenue streams for department and venue
- Coordinate all group sales offers with the box office and promoters
- Negotiate group sales agreements with promoters
- Attend events to manage sales related activities
- Utilizes Ticketmaster to process ticket orders, troubleshoot customer issues and provide staff support
- Assist the Director of Ticketing and Box Office Manager on event days for ticketing as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ticketing and/or Group Sales experience in sports and entertainment preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of work-related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or another related field
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure by working on multiple projects
