Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Partnerships, the Partnerships & Premium Seating Coordinator is responsible for supporting the partnerships team through the sales and partnership execution process by assisting in execution of sponsorships, assisting in the day-of-event premium seating experience, and helping to maintain and grow client relationships to help achieve department revenue goals for OVG at the Iowa Events Center.
This role pays a yearly wage of $17 to $20.00

Responsibilities
- Communicate with annual Suite Holders, Loge Box Holders, Club Seat Holders and Event Rental clients to increase revenue through ticket additions, food and beverage packages and merchandise add-ons
- Identify qualified sales leads and manage prospect lists through CRM input.
- Support the Director and Manager of Partnerships in the sponsorship sales process by designing proposals, developing digital assets and executing sponsorship deliverables.
- Routine coordination with marketing department to develop and execute digital marketing sponsorship programs and deliverables
- Work with the marketing and communications team to put together event announcements for Premium Seating Clients and Pre-Event communications
- Work with the marketing team to maintain the Premium Seating website based on availability for event and annual inventory
- Coordinate and assist in execution of Premium Seating and Sponsor Appreciation Events throughout the year
- Monitor activation schedules to fulfill sponsorship requirements for partners
- Organize sponsorship contract and compliance forms for sponsors
- Organize and assist in creation of sponsorship recaps for sponsors
- Assist with producing strategic sales plans to achieve corporate sales revenue goals
- Lead research projects securing companies for potential new sponsors
- Conduct business during non-traditional hours, taking advantage of opportunities to interact with clients and prospects during games, events and off-site gatherings.
- Day of event responsibilities such as sponsorship activation setup, coordination, entertaining clients, premium seating preparation and fulfilling necessary sponsorship contract obligations
Qualifications
- Ideally 1-3 years of sales or sales coordinator experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment or advertising and brand sales industries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of your role and improve those around you.
- Knowledge of the sport/event sponsorship sales and advertising industry.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to quickly establish personal relationships through trust, knowledge, and empathy.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A self-starter that has the ability to multitask, reacts well under pressure, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A hard worker who values integrity and respect for others, and a team player who also understands how to lead.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Etc.) preferred
