Job Summary
The Box Office Manager will be responsible for actively servicing and selling season ticket, group, suite and birthday ticket packages in addition to food and beverage hospitality packages, and other ticket related products, while providing a high standard of customer service for all accounts to provide a first-class experience for all fans. Reliable attendance is required.
   
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.

Safeguards information that is deemed confidential by the company and management.

Required to be present and work during all Lincoln Saltdogs home games and additional stadium events to where the ticket department is involved and/or box office is being utilized.

Assists in the setup and management of the ticket system along with the administration of all advanced ticket sales activities, including the development of season ticket, group, suite and birthday packages, while assisting in all ticket renewal activities.

Develops new leads through cold calling, attending networking events, self-prospecting, utilization of CRM tools, generating audits and referrals from current customers.

Actively services and sells all season, group, suite and birthday ticket packages through cold calling, face to face appointments and from category lists to meet and exceed individual sales goal set by the organization, while keeping accurate records and processing accurate cut sheets for the NEBCO accounting department.

Assists with the coordination and communication with the food and beverage company on all group picnic events, while providing excellent communication and customer service to all ticket clients before, during and after their outing.

Assists in all daily game day ticket sales and the operation and management of the box office on non-gamedays and gamedays, hold and release activities for groups, create and manage on-line group links and processing of all phone orders and printing of all group tickets and food and beverage hospitality package tickets.

Assists in the development of ticket materials with the marketing team and provide assistance with the execution of email campaigns with the marketing team as it relates to ticket product offerings.

Participates in all ticket and sales meetings along with promotional meetings as they relate to selling group tickets for promotion themed games.

Participates in providing stadium tours and serving as company representative for mascot and player appearances as needed.

Implements sound fiscal and financial management practices, including annual budgeting and oversight related to accounting provided by the NEBCO Corporate Office.

Contributes positively to the Lincoln Saltdogs front office culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships through networks, social networks, referral gathering and personal data management.

Assists the Director of Sales and Retention with all matters relating to the successful operation of the ticketing department along with assisting the General Manager in all business matters related to the overall success of the organization.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education
  • Related college education; and
  • two years of marketing, special events, promotions work experience; or
  • equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in professional sports environment preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid NE drivers’ license, a good driving record and be insurable under the company’s insurance program.

  • Experienced in acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts.
  • Must model superior customer service behavior.
  • Must have a high degree of attention to detail with ability to handle multiple projects, concurrently, timely and efficiently.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and negotiate creative solutions.
  • Must understand the need for a sense of urgency during certain times of the year.
  • Must have working computer knowledge on Microsoft Word and Excel software at an intermediate level. Previous experience on ticket inventory management systems is helpful.

Working Conditions
The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet to moderate.  In the stadium area the noise level can get very loud.  The facility is a professional baseball environment. This is a tobacco-free campus.
