The High Point (NC) Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation are searching for a motivated and organized person to join the team as FACILITY OPERATIONS MANAGER.
This position is responsible for the daily operation, upkeep and oversight of Truist Point.  Built and opened in 2019, Truist Point serves as the home field for both the High Point Rockers and Carolina Core FC of MLS NextPro soccer.  Located in revitalized downtown High Point, this multi-purpose facility hosts hundreds of events annually including the 2025 Big South Conference Baseball Championship (NCAA Division 1).  The playing surface at Truist Point is Field Turf Core Vertex, installed in 2024.
The Rockers and Truist Point are operated by the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation, a registered 501c3 non-profit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS
  • Handle the daily operations of Truist Point.
  • Execute field conversions between baseball and soccer field layouts.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanig of Truist Point.
  • Hire and manage gameday staffing including facility ushers, security, ticket takers and cleaning crew.
  • Serve a liaison with City of High Point for facility maintenance and upkeep matters.
  • Book and manage outside rentals of the playing field and facility.
  • Work closely with community entities including local schools and colleges that use the field.
  • Safely operate field equipment and stadium equipment.
  • Assist in the creation of an annual facility maintenance plan.
  • Oversee set-up and breakdown for all stadium events.
  • Handle general maintenance in stadium including winterization and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all stadium equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a facility safety plan.
  • Work with local law enforcement and EMS to provide safe environment.
  • Work closely with both Rockers and Carolina Core FC coaching staff to ensure playing surface meets exceptional standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in facility management/operations.
  • Working knowledge of artificial turf, specifically Field Turf.
  • Working knowledge of general stadium equipment.
  • Excellent customer skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Ability to multitask and work alone or with a team.
  • Must possess a valid government-issued driver's license.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Knowledge of baseball and soccer a must.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS PACKAGE
  • Full Time, Salaried position - Exempt
  • Salary based upon experience.
  • Health Insurance available - Employer pays a portion of premium.

  • Bonus structure created annually.
  • Ability to earn additional pay from select outside events.
  • Paid Time Off Annually.
  • Reports directly to President.
  • Start Date - Early/Mid October.
