Camelback Spring Training LLC, the managers and operators of Camelback Ranch-Glendale, Spring Training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox, is now accepting applications/resumes for the following position:
Account Executive, Corporate Partnership - Seasonal / October 2024 through March 2025                  
Hours:   October 21, 2024 through December 27, 2024- Approx. 20-30 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
                January 2, 2025 through Mid-February, 2025- Approx. 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
                Mid-Feb. through March 26 (Spring Training)- Approx. 30-40+ hours per week (Sunday-Saturday)
 
With a primary focus on selling corporate sponsorship inventory within the local Phoenix market, the Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships, is a seasonal position which will identify and develop new business opportunities through the sale of print media, in-stadium promotional inventory and hospitality. The Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships will also be responsible for preparing written and in-person presentations and for contractual execution and management of partnership accounts.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Within the local market, prospect and solicit new business opportunities. 
  • Making a minimum number of cold calls and conducting face-to-face meetings on and off-site.
  • Develop sales proposals to include print media, in-stadium promotions, hospitality and signage.
  • Work with marketing and promotions staff to ensure successful sponsorship activations.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, updates and call data to department Director.
  • Assist with some game day sponsor initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work from October 21, 2024 through March 26, 2025, including Spring Training games and weekends as well as additional events as required. 
  • Earned or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, such as Sports Management, Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
  • 2-3 years of media or sponsorship sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. 
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball preferred.
  • Knowledge of best practices for corporate sponsorship activation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and turn ideas into actionable items.
  • Ability to develop effective and collaborative working relationships.
  • Must have a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license. 
 
This position is paid an hourly rate of $17.00 plus sales commissions
