2024 Legends Memorabilia Collection Stadium Auction Sales Contractor

Legends Memorabilia Collection (LMC) is a for-profit subsidiary organization to Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA). With access to thousands of current and former players, LMC offers unparalleled experience in the memorabilia market. LMC is seeking a dependable, self-motivated, team-oriented individual to assist the Stadium Auction Program in memorabilia sales and marketing, day-to-day operations, inventory management, reporting, and data entry. This opportunity will provide well-rounded work experience for students interested in sales and management.
 
This will be an independent contractor opportunity that requires you to work onsite at College Traditions storefront during Ohio State University (OSU) home football games. This contractor role will require you to live in Columbus or the surrounding area from September - December. Mandatory training will be provided.
 
Start Date: August 31st, 2024
 
Compensation: $18.00/Hour – Standard Shift 6-8 Hours

Responsibilities
  • Execute stadium auction sales at College Traditions during home OSU football games.
  • Plan and execute set-up and breakdown of stadium auction tables. 
  • Demonstrate attention to detail when organizing memorabilia and table.
  • Ability to meet or exceed expected sales goals. 
  • Provide excellent customer service in order to secure potential customers, retain recurring customers and maintain client relationships. 
  • Ability to select memorabilia based on sales forecasts and projections. 
  • Assist with management and organization of inventory of all products.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and point of sale systems is a plus. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
 
Breakdown of Duties
  • 90% - Stadium Auction Sales
  • 10% - Other Duties (selecting memorabilia, bid sheets, player signings, etc…)
