The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and member of Minor League Baseball. The organization is proud to be New Hampshire’s only professional sports team, a community champion of the City of Manchester and State of New Hampshire, and producer of high-quality family friendly entertainment.  
The Fisher Cats are looking for hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individuals motived to make Delta Dental Stadium the most entertaining experience in the Eastern League and uphold its reputation as “Best Ballpark” as voted on by fans.  The Production Team are seasonal employees that will primarily focus on in game presentation for the organization.    
Summary: 
Designed to provide supervised work experience for applicants to build their expertise and proficiency in broadcasting, as well as enhance their problem-solving abilities. Along with baseball, there will be other opportunities to work events at the stadium. This is a paid hourly position. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Pay close attention to the ongoing baseball game to provide accurate data input for the live feed distributed through MiLB.com and the MiLB First Pitch app.  
  • Accurately mark plays as they occur, including pitches, batted balls and outcomes, outs, and all other in-game elements.  
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the baseball operations department within the gameday Press Box environment, including the Pitch Clock Operator, Official Scorer, Director of Creative Services, and others 
  • Communicate issues effectively with peers and supervisors to provide accurate and professional service to the club's gameday staff 

Requirements: 
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 games per homestand. Long hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required 
  • Knowledge of baseball preferred 
  • Must be a team player, willing and able to learn new concepts and processes 
  • A detailed and thorough knowledge of baseball rules and play 
  • Maintain professionalism and decorum during the game, including the ability to remain unbiased in the operation of the pitch clock and stringer data feed 
  • Communicate effectively with other gameday staff including umpires  
  • Sit and/or stand for up to 4 hours at a time  
  • Remain attentive to the game for its entire duration 
  • Complete, when necessary, the written or digital post-game report for Stringer  
  • MiLB training will be required
