Summary

This position will assist the Astros Golf Foundation in all areas of Sponsorship Fulfillment. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships with corporate partners to maintain the highest standards of customer service.
  • Work with Astros Corporate Partnerships, Finance and AGF Operations department to keep record of all Sponsor contracts, Sponsor invoicing/scheduling, and payment processing.
  • Communicate with and assist Ticket Office in fulfillment of partnership tickets and hospitality areas that are in Sponsorship Contracts.
  • Ensure all Sponsor hospitality orders are accurate, submitted in a timely manner, and communicated with Concessionaire.
  • Coordinate signage and assists Operations with necessary installments including but not limited to sponsor course signage and sponsor displays.
  • Strategically schedule activations, monitor programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with sales staff to schedule and execute sponsor activations.
  • Coordinates with Astros Marketing on sponsored giveaways and respective quantities.
  • Work Texas Children’s Houston Open and other AGF functions as assigned to execute and monitor sponsor promotions and activities.
  • Manage sponsor value program.
  • Serve as an asset to VP Revenue, Account Executives on day-to-day partnership proposals, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Participate in sales meetings, pitches, and general sales experiences.
  • Measures successful sponsored elements using Sponsorship Recall Surveys throughout the season.
  • Collect and file Sponsorship proof of performance elements design and help execute Sponsor proof of performance presentations with Business Development team.
  • Play an essential role in databasing images, activations, branding, and events, etc. for use in preparing and presenting inclusive sponsor recaps to key decision makers during the contract renewal process.
  • Genuinely passionate about providing an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Work continuously towards self-development to stay current on customer service, sales and general procedures and practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sports Management, Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong management & organizational skills
  • Strong personnel management, collaboration, communication, time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Strong ability and desire to work with others in a collaborative, respectful manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays including all TCHO events.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the tournament environment.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job included close and focused vision. Ability to operate office equipment including but not limited to copier, laser printers, fax machine, telephone, computer, etc.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Travel

Rare travel may be expected in this role.
