Summary:
The Manager, In-Stadium Entertainment is responsible for creating content and scripts for all Memphis Redbirds home games and special events at AutoZone Park. This person would work in coordination with multiple internal departments to execute the full vision for all live entertainment and live broadcasts. 
 
The position will:
  • Lead the event production of Memphis Redbirds events through creative thinking and planning to enhance the in-stadium fan experience.
  •  Coordination, integration, and execution of all in–stadium digital assets.
  • Develop event scripts, run of shows, and create and manage content for Memphis Redbirds games and other special events. 
  • Lead the control room staff including staffing, scheduling, and directing the show.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with broadcast partners to ensure accurate execution of event timing, camera positioning, and stadium broadcast feeds.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and develop new concepts to incorporate into Memphis Redbirds’ event production elements. 
  • Oversee all on-site event production vendors (signage, pyrotechnics, military, flags, audio, DJs, Anthem performers, hosts, staging and more).
  • Oversee any on-field or in-stadium recognitions, partner activations, and award ceremonies.
  • Upkeep and management of equipment for in-stadium and live-stream broadcast. 
  • Work with marketing, team, partnerships, and public relations department to create content for in-stadium show, live stream, social media and advertisements.  
  • Shoot and edit a variety of player interviews, special events, press conferences, and community appearances. 
  • Fulfill video production needs of both internal and external clients. 
  • Provide other assistance as needed to execute events.
  • Assist with other front office functions including, but not limited to, pulling tarp. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
  •  Educational and/or 3 years’ live event production or relevant experience. 
  • Knowledge of broadcast control room and production environments.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel. 
  • Strong knowledge or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Extensive leadership/management in managing large groups is desired.
  • Ability to understand/follow creative direction and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work within strict deadlines and quick turnarounds.
  • Highly creative and willing to contribute innovative ideas/thinking.
  • Experience with sports live production, equipment and stats graphic needs, prep graphics system, cameras, Adobe Creative Cloud Software, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of Daktronics and Expression. 
  •  Ability to think quickly on your feet and operate in stressful situations. 
  • Availability to work irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
