Event Management: Event Operations/Management
This internship is designed to provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain valuable event and customer service experience in a fun and hard-working professional baseball environment. The applicant will provide general support of all Event and Youth Baseball Operations regarding Saints Baseball and assist in facilitating GLOW Holiday Festival held at CHS Field from November 21st - January 5th.

Internship Requirements:

· Must be a junior, senior or recent graduate with a degree from an accredited college or university

· Average of 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

· Available on some nights, weekends and holidays

· Compensation: Can receive college credit when applicable or payment is available if certain requirements are met

Primary Duties:

· Respond to event inquiries and lead follow ups

· Respond to ballpark tour inquiries and setting up tour dates

· Aid in facilitating, coordinating, and supervising GLOW Holiday Festival activities and private parties from November - December

· Assist with various club and ballpark events from October - April

· Update and maintain CHS Field Events social media and website

· Brainstorm different ticket initiatives for Saints games in April and May.

· Opportunity to assist other departments as needed: Sales, Box Office, etc.

Qualifications:

· Highly-motivated with a desire to pursue a career in events or professional sports

· Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills

· Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task

· Working knowledge of MS Office software

· Demonstrate a positive and personable demeanor

· Ability to work some nights, holidays and weekends

· Flexibility to work individually, or as part of a group

· Need to have access to transportation to and from CHS Field
