This internship is designed to provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain valuable sales and customer service experience in a fun and hard-working professional baseball environment. The applicant will provide general support of all Ticket Sales Operations regarding Saints Baseball and assist in facilitating GLOW Holiday Festival held at CHS Field from mid November-January 5th.

Internship Requirements:

·        Must be a junior, senior or recent post graduate with a degree from accredited college or university
·        Average of 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling) from mid November-May
·        Available on some nights, weekends and holidays
·        Compensation: Can receive college credit when applicable or payment is available if certain requirements are met

Primary Duties:

·        Contribute in making outbound ticket sales calls for season ticket holders and potential groups
·        Aid in facilitating, coordinating, and supervising GLOW Holiday Festival tickets, activities, and staffing
·        Opportunity to participate in sales training sessions
·        Assist with administrative ticket database tasks, such as loading in season tickets to buyers’ accounts
·        Brainstorm different ticket initiatives for Saints games in April and May.

Qualifications:

·        Highly-motivated with a desire to pursue a career in professional sports
·        Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
·        Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
·        Working knowledge of MS Office software
·        Demonstrate a positive and personable demeanor
·        Ability to work some nights, holidays and weekends
·        Flexibility to work individually, or as part of a group
·        Need to have access to transportation to and from CHS Field
