Job Title: Account Executive - New Business                         

Job Summary:  To sell the total product including Full, Half, Partial and Premium season ticket plans, as well group tickets, suites, and party areas. The ideal candidate must be an aggressive, experienced sales professional. Candidate must possess the ability to take a consultative approach in understanding client needs as they relate to company products and services. This individual will be responsible for new business development through prospecting, referrals, and networking.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
·         Coordinate and execute sales calls to potential new customers through cold calling, prospecting, and referrals from current customers. 
·         Conduct sales presentations to businesses, organizations and individuals in Kansas City and the surrounding marketplace. 
·         Attain individual and department sales goals as set by the Manager, New Business Development. 
·         Manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, contacts, and appointments. 
·         Generate new group and season sales through area businesses and organizations. 
·         Maintain accurate documentation of prospecting and sales activity. 
·         Visit prospects and customers during home games. 
·         Minimum of 175 calls per week.
·         Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Sales, or related field. 
·         Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in sales and/or customer service.  
·         Proven ability to meet goals and work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment. 
·         Strong organizational and time managements skills. 
·         Excellent oral communication, customer service and problem solving. 
·         Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
·         Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products and ability to learn and master new software programs. 
·         Ability to travel around the stadium visiting clients during home games. Must be able to escort and show potential customers various seating options and facilities around the stadium as well. 
·         Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance. 
·         Professional image and demeanor. 
·         Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends. 
·         Available for some travel outside the Kansas City area as needed. 

Physical Requirements: 
·         Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds 
·         Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
·         Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
·         Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
·         Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
·         Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

 This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
