Job Summary: The Kansas City Royals KCrew is a co-ed, fan interactive team dedicated to engaging with fellow fans and cheering on our Royals!  Members of the KCrew serve as ambassadors for the Royals brand by helping to create a family-friendly, fun atmosphere and adding a memorable touch to fans’ experience at Kauffman Stadium as well as in the community. Game duties include, but are not limited to, fan interaction, prize giveaways, in-game contest execution, intentional seat visits, t-shirt tosses and crowd rallies. In addition to gamedays, the KCrew will make appearances Royals events, Royals Charities events and corporate partner events.

Your Role: 
  • Be an ambassador for the Kansas City Royals by participating in gamedays and community events
  • Interact with fans through seat visits and walking around the stadium
  • Responsible for activation of in-game elements, which includes taking prizes to specific seat locations and interacting with fans
  • Perform t-shirt tosses on the dugouts, field and throughout the stadium seating areas
  • Assist in selecting the ‘Playball’ Kid and greeting guests for in-stadium recognitions
  • Cheer on the Royals and hype up the fans throughout the game
  • Create lifelong memories for Royals fans

Requirements: 
  • All candidates must be 18 years of age by March 1, 2025 (valid photo I.D. required) 
  • Attend a live audition on Friday, November 8th. Hiring will be handled through a closed audition process. More information regarding the audition process can be found at royals.com/kcrew. 
  • Be willing to devote a large percentage of time to the KCrew program, including attendance at mandatory rehearsals, designated games, community events, and other appearances in and around the Kansas City area
  • All members must have flexible schedules and be available for nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be available to work at least 30 home games beginning on Opening Day of the 2025 season
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball is preferred
  • Live in or close to the Kansas City area with reliable transportation
  • Adequate stamina and fitness level to perform athletic activities in the summer heat

  • Ability to perform in front of a crowd (i.e., 7th Inning Stretch, t-shirt tosses, starting lineups, etc.)
