The South Bend Cubs are one of the gold standards in minor league baseball and our organization is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Account Executive to help further push our gold standard higher. You will be responsible for making outbound sales calls, selling, and servicing season tickets, suite lease partnerships, group outings, and others. 

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:     
  • Renew season ticket and ticket package accounts from year to year 
  • Provide unsurpassed customer service to all clients as well as co-workers 
  • Maintain and service business sales contacts
  • Follow and implement all team sales programs
  • Help develop new sales promotions 
  • Assist with team sales campaigns 
  • Hosting clients and prospects at all home games 
  • Hit expected daily touch point count
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
 
Compensation and Benefits  
This is a full-time position that includes a complete health, dental, and vision benefits package, as well as the ability to participate in company 401k program and paid vacation time. This position has a starting base salary and a strong commission structure. Expected compensation range for year one $45,000 - $60,000+ with the expectation as your book of business grows, so does your yearly earnings. Commision is uncapped. 

Experience / Qualifications Required:
  • Strong communication skills and superior customer service abilities
  • College degree preferred 
  • Two years or more in B2B and/or ticket sales experience is preferred 
  • Proven record of establishing and maintaining professional relationships 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks 
  • Proficiency in basic software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.) 
  • Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays 
  • Have own dependable vehicle and transportation 
  • Experience with ticket systems is a plus. The organization currently uses Provenue
