Marketing and Promotions Intern
The Bristol Blues are a summer season collegiate baseball team. We are members of the New England Collegiate Baseball league, and play a 22 home game season out of historic Muzzy Field in Bristol, Connecticut. Since the organization’s conception in 2015, we have achieved three championship appearances, three semi-final appearances and one quarter final appearance. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, affordable night out for fans of all ages paired with high quality baseball. It is our goal to provide interns with a valuable learning experience where they will receive exposure in every part of the organization.

You will receive experience and understanding in:
  • Sport entertainment marketing
  • Budget management 
  • Promotions planning
  • Planning and execution of events from start to finish

You will be responsible for:
  • Executing promotions from start to finish
  • Oversee Game Day Operations interns work related to marketing and promotional nights
  • Interact with Bristol community about upcoming Blues events and games
  • Work directly with our Social Media team to discuss marketing initiatives
  • Seek out prospective fans and groups for promotions

Start and End Date:
This position will begin as a remote position on April 1st. The time commitment will be approximately 3-5 hours per week. Intern will have a vital role in promotional night planning alongside GM and Assistant GM’s.
By the end of your internship, we expect that you will have a deeper understanding of sport marketing and promotional night planning. It is our goal for our candidates to receive hands-on experience and have a direct impact in Blues organizational success. If an intern fulfills an internship requirement part way through the season, they are required to stay until the end of the season.
