The Position
The Minot Hot Tots and Honeybees are looking for a Partnership Activation Manager in Minot, North Dakota to lead, manage and grow our partnership activation department. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position allows you to learn and grow while executing the process of partnership activation from start to finish. We’re looking for a fun, ambitious self-starter who has enthusiasm for helping people, planning and thinking creatively.

The primary role of the Partnership Activation Manager will be to assist the General Manager to sell and service corporate sponsorships through but not limited to building proposals, organizing, fulfilling and executing sponsorship contract elements, maintaining sponsorship relationships, and building detailed recap books. You’ll work closely with all internal departments to create, develop, and market fun, impactful promotions, events and community programs.  

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between partners and all internal team departments including Marketing, Gameday Entertainment, Social, Ticketing and Ballpark Operations
  • Understand partner goals and objectives in order to develop measurable, integrated activation strategies that drive business results
  • Implement and execute all partner contractual elements including but not limited to, in-stadium activations, digital & social media campaigns, print media, hospitality, consumer promotions, community programs, events, etc.
  • Plan and execute all partner promotions and events
  • Manage and track all partnership inventory and provide inventory updates frequently to the partnership team
  • Oversee partnership invoicing, new contracts, and addendums
  • Conduct weekly partnership planning meetings with partnership team
  • Conduct annual, and sometimes monthly, partnership meetings/presentations with partners to review and/or recap the status of the partnership, promotion or event
  • Assist with partner related content on the website, mobile app, game day programs, etc. 
  • Produce partnership proposals
  • Produce end-of-season proof of performance recaps
  • Build professional relationship with partner accounts and deploy touchpoint strategies throughout the calendar year
  • Oversee and manage team of seasonal interns
  • Execute game day responsibilities 
  • Represent the team at various Hot Tots events and participate in other outside, community events and mascot appearances, as defined by the team

General Team Responsibilities
  • Game and Team Event Availability: Expected to be available for all Minot Hot Tots & Honeybees home games and team events, this includes weekends and holidays.
  • Game Day and Event Hours: Expected to be available from mid to late morning through the end of the game and/or event. Schedule will be decided by the direct supervisor on a homestand and event basis.
  • Non-Game Day/Event Hours: Expected to attend office hours of 9 AM-5 PM each weekday. 
  • Other General Team Responsibilities Might Include: 
    • Assist with ballpark set-up and tear-down before-the-season, after-the-season and during each homestand
    • Assist with event set-up and tear-down at team events
    • Help maintain ballpark cleanliness
    • All other duties as assigned

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva preferred
  • Previous experience in Partnership Activation preferred 
  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as determined by events or requirements

*Vacation days are awarded at the discretion of the General Manager with no maximum number of days allowed per calendar year. All vacation requests are to be received at least two weeks prior to needed time off. Vacation time is discouraged from April 1- September 1 due to in-season responsibilities.
