Position Overview:
The Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all Oklahoma City Baseball Club website and social media assets. This position will report to and work closely with the Vice President, Marketing & Communications to develop the OKC Baseball Club’s web and social strategy and execution of both areas. The Coordinator, Marketing will also play a role in project management, working with the Manager, Creative Services to ensure all projects are assigned, approved, and completed on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and management of all OKC Baseball Club web assets. This includes okcbaseball.com, okcballparkevents.com, and okcbaseball.milbstore.com.
  • Oversight and management of all OKC Dodgers social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Work closely with department leaders of Ticketing, Partnerships, Events, Foundation, and Team Store to curate and maintain website and social media content.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute changes to website content and images.
  • Monitor and track the progress of campaigns on both okcbaseball.com and social media channels. This includes monitoring and analyzing web analytics and searching for trends in the customer experience on all platforms.
  • Review and assess content to ensure conformance with platform requirements, title tags, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices, including ensuring that the website is following SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with the full marketing team to develop marketing strategy that spans all digital assets and is cohesive across websites and owned social media channels including paid social media, SEM, programmatic/display ads, and other external advertising spends.
  • Assistance with internal project management.
  • Provide support for targeted email marketing campaigns. 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Website management experience.
  • Prior experience managing social media accounts for a sports team, brand, or similar organization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task.
  • Ability to think creatively while contributing to a collaborative effort to sell tickets, promote our partners, and expand the OKC Baseball Club brand.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certification.
  • The ability to provide creative support to graphic designers.
  • Prior experience writing copy. This could include captions, email marketing, press releases/game stories, sales collateral, website copy, etc.
  • General knowledge of the game of baseball and the role of social media in providing in-game content and engaging fans on all social media channels.
