POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible ensuring that Greater Nevada Field is thoroughly cleaned and maintained, providing a safe and welcoming environment for fans and employees. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Maintain the appearance of all areas of the ballpark including but not limited to the front plaza, parking lots, upstairs at Greater Nevada Field, concourse, and seating bowl.
  • Supervise the part-time day or night custodial staff during games.
  • Train part-time staff on proper procedures.
  • Lead postgame and/or the pregame clean-up.
  • Responsible for scheduling part-time staff for gamedays, events, and non-gamedays.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager on the interviewing and hiring process. 
  • Lead staff and the set-up/cleaning/breakdown of special events. 
  • Keep restrooms, janitor closets, and laundry rooms fully stocked. 
  • Responsible for off-season deep cleaning .
  • Assist the Operations department with various projects, including painting, seat repairs, and light bulb replacements. 
  •  Support the Operations department with winterization tasks during the offseason, such as unstocking areas, moving furniture, and covering seats. 
  • Responsible for snow and ice removal. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  •  High School Diploma/GED required
  •  Be able to work with cleaning chemicals
  •  Cleaning experience preferred
  •  Be able to communicate well in English
  •  Effective verbal communication skills and able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos
  •  Be able to work effectively with the public, other team members and supervisors in a diplomatic manner

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  •  Work in fast-paced environment 
  • Flexibility to work long hours, evenings and weekends
  •  Minimal travel required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  •  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  •  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
  •  Mobility and dexterity to make clean floors, dust all room surfaces, clean toilets, mirrors, and bathtubs
  •  Must have close, distance and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
