We’re looking for someone that is not only passionate about graphic design, but also understands the importance of design as a form of communication.  Are you someone who gets excited about layouts and fonts? When you join the creative team at the Tacoma Rainiers, you join a group of talented, passionate and hard working individuals who are always asking “What if?” From the design of merchandise, sales flyers, video boards graphics and so much more, your work will shape and grow our brand. 

Key Responsibilities
Graphic designers typically do the following: 
  • Develop a variety of visual strategies to deliver specific messages.
  • Support internal teams, such as social media content creation through template design, Corporate Partnership through marketing asset development,and marketing through advertising builds; 
  • Collaborate with the creative team to outline and execute design themes for each season; 
  • Actively participate in creative team meetings to develop comprehensive creative campaigns; 
  • Utilize organizational skills and attention to detail while facilitating review and feedback cycles; 
  • Tackle other duties as assigned with enthusiasm.

Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or similar field.
  • Excellence at Adobe Creative Suite, (including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, and After Effects)
  • Ability to manage relationships with team and work well with a variety of departments across the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Capacity to work flexible hours including weeknights, weekends and holidays

Benefit Information
This is a full-time salary position for the Tacoma Rainiers. As a full-time employee, you will have the option for full medical and dental coverage as well as life insurance. After one (1) year of employment, you will be eligible for participation in 401K plan with employer matching.
