Job Summary:
This person should be an outgoing, energetic and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills.  This position is responsible for generating new revenue and developing business through corporate partnerships with the Biloxi Shuckers through cold calls, face to face meetings, etc.  Duties will include activation, implementation and fulfillment of corporate partnership packages.  It will be the responsibility of the Corporate Partnerships Manager to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales reports in a timely fashion.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Identify leads and solicit new local and regional corporate partners for the organization
  • Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients
  • Maintain current corporate sales inventory and create new opportunities
  • Manage the implementation all corporate contracts to ensure all sponsorships are fully serviced
  • Create and deliver proofs of performance to corporate partners
  • Daily reporting of sales and goals
  • Develop and implement sponsor incentives
  • Attend Chamber of Commerce and other community events
  • Other related duties as required
 
Qualifications:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
  • At least three years of successful sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • Good written (report writing) and oral communication (public speaking) skills
  • High Customer Service, quality attitude, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Photoshop
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong team work skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience with Ticketmaster and Digideck preferred but not required
  • Physical requirement (lifting 50 pounds many times per day, standing, squatting, and  bending for long periods)
