A Corporate Sales Executive for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos should be an outgoing, energetic, and creative sales professional who is a clear self-starter with strong sales and relationship skills. This position will be involved with the full company sales program, oversee organization and development of all group hospitality areas, as well as targeting groups and group prospecting throughout the Northwest Florida market. And, as part of a highly awarded sports organization in a waterfront stadium in the heart of the community, the person can expect to have a lot of fun. 

Essential Functions

  • Identify and solicit new local and regional corporate partners for the organization 
  • Develop customized sponsorship programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients  
  • Identify sponsorship leads 
  • Make sales presentations and manage communication with partners and sponsors 
  • Maintain corporate sales inventory (signage, print, radio, etc.) 
  • Responsible for creating new sales inventory 
  • Daily reporting of sales and goals 
  • Assist with the development and implementation of in-game promotions 
  • Implement sponsorships during all 70 home games 
  • Manage the implementation of all corporate contracts and ensure all sponsorships are completely fulfilled 
  • Responsible for creating and delivering proofs of performance to all corporate partners 
  • Provide excellent customer service and hospitality to all clients 
  • Game day task list for team photographer 
  • Pull tarp when needed 
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • 2-3 years of sales experience 
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills 
  • High level of integrity 
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals 
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written 
  • Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Strong presentation and customer service skills 
  • Ability to attend company events Ability to work in fast paced environment 
  • Ability to pull tarp and other manual labor duties 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays 
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience in customer service required. 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position includes the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard office equipment including computers. 

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

This is a regular, full-time position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
