Acadiana Cane Cutters is a summer collegiate baseball team which has been part of the Texas Collegiate League for 14 years. We are looking for a part-time sales representative who will work with the team to expand our customer base in sponsorship sales, season tickets, and group outings.
This is a part time commission only job.
Primary Duties
- Meeting and Exceeding sales goals
- Effective follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Developing new business via phone calls, emails, social media, community events, grass roots marketing, and face to face meetings, all documented in the Score CRM
- Proactively create opportunities for new business through referrals and upselling opportunities
- Work with Owners and other staff to create, plan, sell and execute other events at Fabacher Field in year round operation
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration
- Results oriented focus on sales efforts and follow up with good organizational skills
- Good business level Information Technology skills
- Some applicable sales experience
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day
- Disciplined self-starter with strong work ethic
