JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator provides sourcing, hiring and on-going HR support for the Event Staff employee population. The coordinator will be the primary contact for inquiries from Event Staff and coordinate and deliver training and other orientation/appreciation event opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Administers new hire orientation for event staff, ensuring exposure to company policies, procedures, benefits, business ethics, and operational guidelines

  • Source and recruit for Event Staff positions

  • Manage candidates through the recruiting and pre-hire testing process.

  • Compose correspondence to event staff.

  • Respond timely to inquiries from Event Staff – email, phone – to resolve their question or issue.

  • Design and implement employee feedback mechanisms such as climate surveys and exit interviews; communicate resulting information and recommendations to leadership.

  • Design, manage and distribute any employee rewards and/or recognition for Event Staff

  • Administer and support managers/supervisors with performance reviews

  • Manage uniform inventory and distribution

  • Create and update training materials and SOP’s as needed

  • Meet and collaborate regularly with managers/supervisors to continuously improve the Event Staff employee experience

  • Participates in rotating schedule of game duties

  • Train staff on TEAM alcohol awareness training

  • Coordinate and project manage with all stakeholders the pre-season orientation, mid-year event and end of year event for Event Staff

  • Answer general questions regarding HR policies, procedures and events

  • Assist with special projects

  • All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree required

  • Knowledge of Windows, including Excel and Word.

  • Knowledge of Workday preferred

  • Supervisory experience a plus

  • Must have excellent organizational skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work under strict deadlines and minimal supervision

  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training and preventative labor relations, preferred

  • Ability to work flexible hours and holidays if needed
