JOB SUMMARY: To assist in the general maintenance of Globe Life Field in Arlington and the surrounding areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Knowledge of general construction repairs to include but not limited to the following:

    • Acoustical ceilings

    • Metal

    • Sheet rock

    • Paint

    • Wood

    • Stadium seating

    • Concrete

    • Doors/locks

    • Overhead/coiling roll-up doors

    • Temporary stair setup and removal for events

  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining regular records of maintenance and repairs

  • Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed

  • Strong ability to work independently or with a team

  • Vast experience working with power tools

  • All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Ability to work independently without supervision

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including but not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Satisfactory work record

  • Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools

  • High mental and visual effort required

  • Lift training and/or certifications are preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position will require work to be performed on weekends, event nights and holidays as needed.

  • Outdoors and office environment

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move with large bulk items

  • Requires long periods of time on feet

  • Ability to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend and extend arms and legs fully

  • Ability to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controls

  • Must be able to work with chemicals and fumes, following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear at all times."

  • No fear of heights
