Partnership Sales Manager – Amarillo Sod Poodles (Amarillo, TX).   Member: Elmore Sports Group.  Double-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Texas League of Professional Baseball.

We are seeking a bright, talented, driven individual to join our staff of seasoned industry professionals. The Partnership Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Partnership Sales in oversight of  all corporate business development, sales growth and day-to-day operations of the sales team including, budgeting, client fulfillment, inventory design and management, hiring, schedule coordination and development of sales collateral materials.  The primary objectives are to continue to drive corporate partnership revenues, train and be a leader in a department of young professionals while meeting the needs of our corporate partners. This individual will work directly with the Director of Partnerships to develop and execute the club’s business plan.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist in the development of business and sales strategies to increase revenue and build upon team sales goals. 
  • Expand, prospect and generate new corporate partnerships through interaction in the community.
  • Assist in planning and management of the financial and operational aspects of the team
  • Assist in sponsorship inventory control management
  • Assure compliance with all professional baseball requirements
  • Interface with other departments to assist in the development, implementation and analysis of marketing, promotion and sales campaigns.
  • Coordinate event, promotional and game schedule
  • Assist with the development and execution of game day promotions and game presentation
  • Assist with development and administration of a customer service culture throughout the organization
 
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years’ experience in corporate sales required working in a professional or collegiate sports organization. 
  • Experience in successfully developing and generating sponsor partnerships sales revenues.
  • A history of personal and organizational sales success and the ability to build and lead a sales driven and customer focused organization. 
  • Experience understanding sales reports and meeting budgets
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proven leadership and management abilities
  • Strong communication, organizational and team building skills
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Digi-Deck and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Graphics programs proficiency a plus.  
  • Candidate must have the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Based on experience. 
Commissions and bonuses based on direct sales efforts and success of the department. Health Insurance provided and is available after sixty days of continuous service. 401K option is available after 1-year of continuous service.
